Welcome to the Canine Cognition and Human Interaction Lab (C-CHIL) at Univerisity of Nebraska-Lincoln!  C-CHIL is a lab in the Department of Psychology and Center for Brain, Biology and Behavior focusing on understanding both dog psychology and how interacting with dogs influences human behavior and psychology.

Mission: We use biological and psychological approaches to understand dog behavior to improve how owners and handlers train, work with, and live with dogs.

We study dog behavior by having owners bring their pups into the lab where we play games with the dogs. If you are a dog owner who would like to participate, please enroll your dog. We will contact you when we have a study that you are eligible for. We have several hundred dogs registered, so please be patient as we work through the list.
