C-Chil logoWelcome to the Canine Cognition and Human Interaction Lab (C-CHIL) at Univerisity of Nebraska-Lincoln!  C-CHIL is a lab in the Department of Psychology and Center for Brain, Biology and Behavior focusing on understanding both dog psychology and how interacting with dogs influences human behavior and psychology.

  • We study dog psychology by having owners bring their dogs into the lab where we play games with the dogs.
  • We study dog-human interactions by having people come in to the lab, interact with dogs, and then participate in psychology experiments.

If you are a dog owner who would like to participate, please enroll your dog. We will contact you when we have a study that you are eligible for. We have several hundred dogs registered, so please be patient as we work through the list.
